15 weeks to go

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

What???? I'm 25 weeks today and I really can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. Before we know baby girl will be here. I feel great and I try to walk 3 to 4 times a week. I love food more than ever. Nothing is off limits!!! It's so hard to decide what to eat because if I had my choice I would choose Drive-Thru hop. Let's go here for tacos, here for hamburgers, here for corn dogs, here for sandwiches, and here for ice cream.

All I have to say is that this baby better be bigger than Nathan because I'm eating so much!

Jerry and I want to thank you for all your phone calls, letters, cards, e-mails, and love. We can't wait to share her with all of you.

Our big boy

We are not trying to rush anything, just experimenting. Nate for a few months has been asking to use the toilet, like Brandon. So, a couple months ago I bought Nate some big boy underwear. He held the package in the store and all the way home. At first he was diggin' his new underwear, but then realized that it was work. Probably because I was taking him every 1/2 hour to the bathroom. So he decided that he wanted to wear his underwear over his diaper....adorable!!!! He wore them like that for a few days and told me, "No underwear."
Well today he went into his drawer and got his Lighting McQueen underwear out and said, "Mommy, Potty!" He said it with such urgency that I rushed him to the toilet. He sat down and what do you know...went potty.

Here are a few pics. of him in his "Aunt Bec's Santa shirt, underwear, and Mommy's shoes".

Our little lap dog

You must be wondering...why is Kristen blogging so much these past few days? Well, I realized I was neglecting my blog because I am becoming obsessed with Facebook. I love Facebook and have been spending TOO much time on it. But I will try my hardest to do a blog (even if I have no pics. to go with it) once a week.

Here's the latest in the Uribe household. Our Weimaraner, Ringo, thinks he is a Teacup Poodle. He's over 100 lbs. and thinks he can sit anywhere. Last night Nathan and I were reading books on our loveseat and Ringo decided he wanted to come sit with us. Well, there was really no room. But Ringo made room for himself. It was really cute and made Nate's day.

My baby bump

Here's the picture everyone is dying to see. This is me at 21 weeks. I'm now 24 weeks. I feel like this picture doesn't do my Big Buddha Belly justice, but oh well! I'll try to update my picture this week...when I look better.
Thank you for all the great e-mails and phone calls.

Kids with Nana's new puppy

Jennifer already blogged a little about Nana's new friend. Nana got a sweet puppy this weekend. She let the kids name him....they did a pretty good job. His name is Cooper Maxwell. We've seen a lot of Cooper this weekend and now this week. The kids are in love with him as you can see from the picture.

Nate loves it when the puppy licks him and nips at him. Nathan, Bianca, and Brandon love to take turns taking him for a "walk" (pull)on his leash. One day he'll be pulling them.

Once again, Nana to the rescue. She always knows how to bring the kids joy. Thank you, Nana for sharing your puppy with us.

Chino Cows

My son loves cows!!!! Thankfully, we live right next to our Chino/Ontario cows. He tells us that he wants to go bye bye in the truck to find the cows. When Dad is home Friday thru Sunday we go and park right next to the cows. Nate loves them and we are so greatful to them.

When we want to make Nate's day extra special we go see the cows and get to see the BEST smile ever. Thank you Chino/Ontario cows for making my life easier. Who would have thought I would say that about cows???

Got Pregnancy Brain???

I try to sleep at night and nothing works. I'm not uncomfortable, just thinking. Jerry asked me, "Why are you so stressed out?" It has nothing to do with stress.

Nathan and Jerry fall asleep so easily and my head is whirling with tons of thoughts. E.g. I wonder how Nana's 1st night is with the puppy. This leads to...I wonder what she'll name the puppy....If she names the puppy Lucky, that will be cute...what other names start with L....and so it goes. My many sleepless nights because of my crazy pregnancy brain.

There's a picture above the text of a normal brain....not my brain! Wahhhh!!! The pic. on the right is old, but it's a cute pic. of my boys sleeping.

Even though, my brain is on hiatus I do have some advantages to having sleepless nights. I get to listen to Jerry and Nate sleep and I get to feel the baby move all night long.
