28 weeks

Happy 28 weeks to us! Happy 28 weeks to us! We are 28 weeks pregnant and in our 3rd trimester!!!
Well, I'm definitely bigger now than ever. I was this size when I was 40 weeks pregnant with Nathan. Jerry didn't believe this so I got Nate's baby book out. He pointed to a picture and said, "how far along were you here?" I was 38 weeks...he couldn't believe it!!!
We are ecstatic about how fast the time is flying and can't wait to meet our daughter. However, she is still nameless. Please keep passing along those fabulous names.
Today, we took Nate to the Claremont Botanical Gardens. It was such a beautiful day. We saw squirrels, fish, birds, and turtles. He loved being so free!
To celebrate our anniversary Aunt Bec watched Nathan (thank you, Aunt Bec) while we went to BJ's...our 1st date place. We had lots of fun and food...Yummy! But we missed our little Nate.

Wedding 2006

Where were 3 years ago today?

Many of you faithful blog followers were with us 3 years ago today. Celebrating our wedding day. I can't believe how much has happened in 3 years. Just think how many kids between all of us we've had, how many ups and downs, highs and lows, happy times and sad times. Jerry and I just want to thank all of you for being such wonderful people in our lives, as well as Nate's.

Happy Anniversary to my loving husband. You are so wonderful to us. We are so blessed to have you. We love you!!!

Can Nate be any cuter & 27 weeks

Nate amazes me everyday. He is such a good listener, funny, loving, kind, and so much more.
He loves sissy already. He constantly pulls my shirt up to give her "love pats", hugs, or kisses. He'll even talk or sing songs to her.
This morning we were watching Barney and he wanted to share it with sissy. He came over and lifted my shirt so my belly was showing and said, "Sissy, Barney, too!" I said, "Do you want sissy to watch Barney with you?" He said, "Yes." and gave her a kiss.
I ask what's going to happen when sissy cries and he tells me he'll give her a binky, hugs, and kisses. I hope this love fest happens when she is here.
The picture above is of our little sweet boy, who is now a ham. He loves the camera. The other of a mommy who looks tired and HUGE!!!!

26 weeks pregnant

26 weeks pregnant sure feels different this time around! I feel HUGE!!!! Looking back at my pregnancy w/Nate I was much smaller. Oh well! To be honest with you I'm enjoying every minute of it. Not only did I show faster with this one, but I also got to feel her move early. What a blessing!!!!This weekend we bought Nate a Big Boy dresser and a Big Boy book shelf. He's in love with the book shelf. He spends his time emptying it and helping me clean the books up at the end of the day.We haven't decided on baby girl's name and would love input from anyone and everyone. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

100 days to go

As many of you have seen on the side of the blog there is a picture of how many days until the baby will be here...Thanks, Jen!!! I'm shocked that today I only have 100 more days (if she's on time) to go. My mind has already been in overdrive, but now it's going super fast. All I keep thinking is I have to do this, that, oh...and that!!!!!

I feel like someone is pressing the fast forward button on my life. I need to get my bootie in gear and start on her room. I also need to get over the feeling that Nate will be sad when his sissy comes. Of course, he'll be happy. But I am so nervous that he'll have a hard time. It makes me cry just thinking of it. Wahhh!

Teddy is no longer his name

Nathan has a new name for his teddy bear. Last night Nate and Daddy went outside to see our neighbor, Lalo. Nate loves Lalo and fam. because they are always smiling. Skatey was very sad to come inside because he wanted to hang out. I tried everything to stop him from crying and finally something worked. I called Teddy, LaLa. Nate stopped crying. Crisis adverted!!!

Me and My Teddy

Today Nathan discovered his Teddy Bear. He took Teddy everywhere we went. The most memorable place we took him was the grocery store.
I told Nate on the way to the store that he had to show Teddy how to sit in the cart and wear his seatbelt for safety.
When we got to the store I put Nate and Teddy in the cart. When I put the seatbelt on Nate told Teddy it's for safety. It was so cute. He also said, "Good Boy, great job" to his Teddy.
It just goes to show you that are kids do listen to everything we say to them.
Nate proudly sat in the cart holding his Teddy the whole time.
I wish I had a camera for the shopping excursion, but since I didn't he posed for me at home.
It reminds me of the song, "Me and my teddy getting all ready..."
