ABC kid

When Nathan is in the bath we do a lot of talking and singing. Yesterday I asked him if he wanted to sing his ABCs. He told me he wanted me to sing them to him...so I did...whatever he wants he gets. After the song was over it was quiet. To my amazement Nate started to sing, "ABCDEFG" as clear as day. I couldn't believe it.

Later that night on our walk he said it again. Wow!!!! Kids are truly sponges!

Now I just have to convince him to say it again for the camera....that's going to take awhile.

Week 33

Today is the official start of week 33...7 more weeks to go. I can't believe how big my stomach is getting. Some days my tummy is smaller than others. Baby continues to be active and Nate loves to talk to her.

Nate is concerned about Sissy and doesn't want her to cry. He keeps talking about when she cries he's going to give her a binky. So, every time we cruise the baby section at the store he talks about buying her some. We now have 6 binkies for her. I only had 2 with Nate.

The Uribe household is getting very anxious to meet Sissy. And although 7 weeks doesn't sound like a lot, it feels like an eternity. I want it to be here now. I want to meet this little girl who has been kicking, flipping, giving me high fives, twirling, and whirling inside me.

My next door neighbor asked me, "Are you guys ready?" I told her, "What do you really need to be ready? Just some diapers and clothes." She gave me the strangest look. But that's how I feel with this pregnancy. Everything just seems to fall in place. So Sissy, we are ready!!!! But make sure you cook your 7 more weeks.

Nate on his big boy bike

Nate's new BIG boy bike

Santa bought Nate a tricycle for Christmas and it's becoming too small. We went and bought him a new BIG boy tricycle and he loves it. Daddy put it together last night...Thank you, DAD!

He keeps saying, "Like Brandon and Bianca's bike". I can't believe how big he looks when he's sitting on it. We are working on the pedaling and I know he'll get it soon. He really likes to use his feet on the ground. I think he feels safer and more in control that way. And shocker of all shockers...Nate loves to wear his new monkey helmet. He keeps telling me, "Safe, Mommy". He even wanted to wear it to bed last night. Until he figured how hard it was to lie down with it on. But he remembered his new bike and helmet first thing this morning. It's adorable.

Please send up your prayers

As many of you already know my BROTHER, Eddie, has been in the hospital for awhile. He is in ICU because the Drs think he might have had a mild heart attack. Rebecca and I drove out there to see him today and my heart broke when I saw him. Please pray for Eddie. He needs and wants to get better.

Thank you from our family to yours for everyone's love, support, and prayers.

Week 31...dare I post this picture!

If we are lucky in 9 weeks our little girl will be here. I keep telling her not to be overdue. I know she wants out because it feels like she is trying to find a way out. Maybe because she can hear all of the fun her brother and cousins are having!
This week we were fortunate to get a 4D ultrasound...AMAZING!!! We didn't do this with Nate and now I regret our decision!!!!

The Ultrasound Technicians were really pleased with how well sissy was showing up on the ultrasound and told us that they wanted to use her pics for the lobby. They said that not all babies show up so clear.

Also, we bought Nate a new stroller. The old faithful stroller that we've had forever broke....WAHHHH!!! We haven't had a chance to get it dirty or make it look like it's a boy's stroller, but I couldn't resist taking a picture of him...in it!!!! He's so funny. He wants me to push him around in it. I keep telling him that it's for Barbies or his animals, but he doesn't believe me.

I was also excited to see that my wonderful sisters, Rebecca and Jennifer, decided to give me a baby shower for Girl Uribe. Thank you for the surprise, Sisters!!!!

As I write this I feel so happy because today we celebrated Nana's birthday!!!! Happy Birthday, Nana! We went to our favorite place, The Old Spaghetti Factory, in Fullerton. It was a BIG hit with Bianca, Brandon, Nathan, Gracie, and Lukie. Nana knows her grand kids. Go choo choos!!! Not only did we eat...YUMMY! But we went to Hailey's game in Hemet...the three of us with our clowns. This is rare, but when it happens it's wonderful. Aunt Jen bought a box of french fries for all the kiddos. It was so funny to see all of them sitting on the ground in a circle around the french fries. The french fries were gone in seconds. At one point Luke was eating a french fry and it broke. Luke was going to pick it up, but Nate got to it first. The look on Luke's face was classic...HEY, DUDE! DON'T TAKE MY FRY!!! But Nate didn't eat it he gently put it in Luke's mouth...much to Luke's surprise!I love creating memories like this. How sweet it was to watch 5 of the grand kids chasing after each other, playing with each other, doing flips, and enjoying each other. Nana definitely needs to have a birthday every weekend!

Week 29

I don't have a picture for this week...week 29...I'm not that brave to take one. I feel like my hips, thighs, and butt have gotten bigger....Wahh!!! It's all for a good reason, but still it makes me sad.

I scheduled an appointment to have a 4D ultrasound on March 13th...Partayy! Can't wait to share those awesome pics with everyone.

We got a new treadmill a couple days ago. I decided to go on it today....Woo hoo!!! It's so much harder than it looks. I'm use to walking with my sister in Upland or walking with Nate outside. I felt so lonely and bored. Bored because I didn't have Jerry and Nate here to talk to. Jerry decided to let me workout in peace and took Nate for a drive to Papa's house. While I know Nate love being with Dad and Papa I still missed them. The worst part of my workout was when I turned off the treadmill. Too much QUIET!!!! No music, no sound of the treadmill, no T.V. , no Nate, and no Jerry.

I can't wait for them to get home. I miss them!!!
