Christmas Eve

Nate loves to see us getting ready for company. Today he knew something was up with all of my craziness. I didn't sit for one second. I'm paying for it now!

Tonight we had family over to enjoy each other and be mellow.

We heard a knock on our door. And guess who it was....Papa!!!! He came bearing presents. Nate was so excited to see him...we had just put on his "Papa's shirt". Papa gave him a scooter and it was enjoyed by all. Thank you, Papa.

Next to join us was Eddie, Jen, Gracie, and Luke. The twins look so much different from a year ago. Both of them had bells on their shoes and were ready to play. We were really excited to see them because we usually have to wait for Christmas Day to come. It was really nice to have the other Uribe Family over. Thank you Jen, Eddie, Gracie, and Luke.

Next was Aunt Bec, Hailey, Bianca, Brandon, and Nana. Wow! Brandon and Nate played so well together sharing the scooter from Papa. Bianca and Hailey were enjoying their time playing the Wii and playing with their cousins. Thank you, Aunt Bec, Hailey, Bianca, Brandon, and Nana.

Nate just fell asleep. It's almost 11:30, but he was still so excited that people were over. He kept saying every one's names. He did miss quite a few people who were unable to make it, but I'm sure he'll see them tomorrow.

Here is a picture of all of Nana's grandchildren...except 1, she's still in my tummy. This picture is exciting because all the kids are looking at the camera. What???? I know! I said the same thing myself when I put it on the computer. Which is the reason I had to create this post. Tomorrow or the next day I'll zoom in so you can see it better.

Sorry if this doesn't make any sense. I'm very tired and losing it!

Love to all. And a very Merry Christmas. We hope to see everyone tomorrow or in the New Year.

I didn't have a camera for our famous and annual cookie day...wahhh! But it was so much fun. We arrived late so that Nate could have a much needed NAP! But when we got there Santa's little elves were busy at work making lots of yummy cookies and soup! The kids had so much fun together!!! We already eager for next year's cookie day!!!!

Baby Girl due May!!!

What is baby #2?

We had our ultrasound on Friday the 12th, week 18 of our pregnancy, and found out we are having a GIRL. We got to see a face shot of the baby, her hand above her head, her hand on her chin, her yawning, playing with her tongue, her ear, and so much more. She is very active, not like Nathan. Nathan was very quiet during my pregnancy with him. He never really moved in the ultrasounds. When they said it was a girl I started to cry. I don't know why. I don't care if it's a boy or a girl...just want it to be healthy.

Now that we know it's a GIRL we get to go SHOPPING!!!!

Santa

Santa is a BIG hit in our house. Nate loves stories, songs, pictures, and even says, "Ho! Ho!" However, Santa is not allowed to come close to Skatey. So, this year I think it's safe to say that we will not get that cute little picture of Skatey on Santa's lap. I don't even know if I should try. I don't want my son to stop the whole mall with his tears and screams.

This past weekend was Christmas on Euclid and a Christmas skate party. We saw Santa at both events. At Christmas on Euclid the first thing we did was see Santa. Nate became a Koala bear and started fussing and kind of crying. I quickly turned around and went the opposite way. At the skate party we saw Santa, again. He's everywhere! This time Dad took Skate Taco and sat next to Santa while holding Natey. Skatey still didn't like Santa, but this time there were tears and screams. Sorry Santa and elf.

Nate did love the Tri-tip, cars, walking around, holding Gracie and Brandon's hands, and the police officers. That's my boy! He also loved playing skiball and watching the people skate---he wanted to skate to. All I have to say for the skiball is....Man he has an arm.
