Victoria Gardens or Bust

In an attempt to make sure the boys have early naps and have fun. We loaded all the kids up and took them to play at the park and water at Victoria Gardens. Nate's played with the water before, but never with his cousins and his new girlfriend (and future wife) Kate. All of the kids had fun. Nate, Bianca, and Brandon were in the middle of the water without a care in the world. Little Kate sat poolside and watched. She's my kind of gal. Keep the outfit from getting wet and people watch. You go, Katie!!!
Fun for Nate ended when he fell and got another fat lip....my poor guy! He cried for a little bit, got mud and blood on me, but then he stopped. I thought he stopped crying because he wanted to go back in the H2O, but no....he wanted to go to the Thomas the Tank Engine Store.
We got everyone dressed and dried (somewhat) and we all played with the train table. It was so much fun and we are so thankful that we were able to spend this day with people we love.

Happy Birthday, Darren!

There's nothing like having friends and family over. We have especially enjoyed this week because we had lots of visitors come play with us at our house. On Saturday Nate's cousins Kara and Darren came over...we had lots of fun! We went swimming, played, had In-N-Out, and Ice cream cake for Darren's birthday. Nate had so much fun because he got to play with Kara and Darren, sing "Happy Birthday", and see Darren blow out the "HOT" candle.
Let's not forget that Jerry and I had lots of fun, too! We got to play in the pool, hang out, and play Guitar Hero with Kara and Darren. I watched while Kara and Darren hit Uncle Jerry with pillows. We all had such a wonderful time.

Playdates are fun!!!

Nate had another playdate yesterday and loved every bit of it. Hailey, Bianca, Brandon, Kate, Patrick, Aunt Bec, and Nana came over to hang out. The kids danced, played with toys, played lots of games (duck duck goose, charades, ring around the rosy (sp?), tag, and hide and seek), and they also danced. We had so much fun and can't wait for everyone to come play with us again. Party time!!!!

We had a FUN day at my house today with the Taylor kids, the Arteaga kids, and Nate! All the kids wanted to play an instrument and create a band. As you can see I tried to get pics of them all looking, but it didn't go as well as planned!

Nate and I can't wait for everyone to come over again and play with us. Maybe next time Gracie and Luke can come, too!
