Em is 9 months old
We want to thank Jennifer, my sister, for always keeping our blog looking fabulous. THANK YOU!!!
As many of you already know today is our 4 year wedding Anniversary. It seems like yesterday. I remember being shoved into Rebecca's Altima with all the kids...dress and all. What beautiful memories I have. Today I reflected on that day with so much happiness. We are truly blessed to have all of you in our lives.
Nathan is 3 yrs. 3 months old- he loves going to preschool. Especially, since Zia is best friend is there. Last week Jerry worked in the classroom and was able to witness first hand what a sweetie pie our son is. The kids were sitting in a circle and Ms. Lucy, the head teacher, was reading a book about friendship....
Ms. Lucy- "Nathan, who do you love?"
Nathan- "I love ZIA."
He is so adorable, but I'm not ready for this.
Nathan's schedule is about to get busier. In April he's going to start Pee Wee Soccer....he's very excited. In June he's going to start T-Ball. I hope to get him into swimming, too. I want him to try as many things as he can at this age while he still has all of this free time. I know he's going to do AWESOME. He's a natural. He gets it from me...ha ha ha!
Emerson- Our sweet, precious little girl. She's going to be 9 months old tomorrow. Tonight we watched videos of her on the day she was born....we were all misty eyed. She's a very happy baby. She loves to socialize, roll around everywhere, clap her hands, laugh, and be silly.
A lot has happened in our amazing 4 years of marriage. But we are most thankful for our silly little munchkins. We are truly blessed. We couldn't imagine having anything better than our 2 little ones, our health, family, and friends.
(Having trouble getting the pics uploaded to our blog. Stay tuned.)

Christmas is gone? Already!
This year it was so hard for me to get in the swing of things. When I finally felt the "Christmas spirit" Christmas was gone. I remember when I was little my Aunt and Mom would tell me, "Wait until you get older. Christmas goes by really fast, then." They were right.
This Christmas was really fun. We had 2 cutie pies to share it with our little Em and N. Emmie turned 7 months a few days before Christmas. She wanted to play with all the gift bags and tissue paper.....so cute! Nate, my little 3 year old, wouldn't sit on Santa's lap, but w/ the help from Mom and Dad he wrote a letter to Santa and mailed it. He also colored a picture of a truck and gave it to Santa. I love to see the joy and excitement that the magic of Christmas brings to Nate. Wow! That's what Christmas is all about....Magic and BELIEVING.
Christmas morning Santa left "snow" on the fireplace and rug. Nate was mad that Santa left such a mess. We reassured him that it was okay. He said, "Mommy, I'll help you clean up after Santa." He forgot all about the presents under the tree and wanted to clean it right away. What a sweet boy.
I just want to say......Woo Hoo! My tree lasted the whole month. All of my decorations lasted the whole month. I'm one excited Mommy. Thanks, Nate for being such a great listener and helper. You and your sis really made my Christmas MAGICAL. Both of you are my heart. I love you.

Blessings
This time of year brings so much emotion to me. I'm so thankful for a lot. Here are a few things I'm thankful for: I'm so thankful and blessed to have wonderful family and friends. I'm thankful that we all can spend time together. I'm thankful that despite how busy we all are we manage to keep our traditions.
Our 1st tradition to bring in Christmas 2009 is going as a family to "Christmas on Euclid". Mom, Jen's family, Bec's family, and our family go. It's so much fun and creates many memories for all of us. It also helps me get in the holiday spirit. This year we captured this on our camera (photos to come). Emmie sat on Santa's lap and was looking at the ornaments. Nate decided that he just wanted to, "wave to Santa" and give him a picture he colored. We had way too much fun!
This time of year also makes me think of the people in our lives that have passed on. Grandma, Auntley, my Dad, Jerry's Mom---just to name a few. We are so blessed to have had these wonderful people in our lives.
Take time to hug those around you, keep your traditions with them, create memories, and remember to "live, laugh, love, and dance".
